All of them take place this weekend. So, you might want to plan out which of the Tucson area Christmas tree lighting ceremonies to attend first. Then, head over to the other two anytime between now and the end of the year to see these sparklers light up the sky.

To get you in the holiday spirit, you have three different Tucson area Christmas tree lighting ceremonies to choose from this weekend.

Tucson Area Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremonies 2022

Oro Valley Christmas Tree Lighting

Search Tucson homes for saleThe Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene hosts its tree lighting ceremony from 6 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, December 3rd. Come see the live nativity, sip some hot chocolate, take a hayride, visit with Santa, and listen to live Christmas music. Then, watch the 30-foot tree light up at 8 pm.

The Oro Valley Marketplace hosts its Festival of the Arts on both Saturday and Sunday. So, you could decide to go to Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene's event on Saturday. Then, go to the marketplace on Sunday if you want an entire weekend of dazzling lights on display. They start off with their Festival of the Arts at 10 am each day. The festival provides you with the perfect opportunity to tackle that Christmas gift list while supporting local craftsmen and artisans. Then, from 3 pm to 6 pm each day, the lighting ceremonies take place. Organizers planned lots of family-friendly activities as well. Plus, I heard whispers that Santa might show up to take pictures with all the good boys and girls who attend.

Marana Christmas Tree Lighting

Marana loves their Christmas tree lighting ceremony so much that they plan on doing it twice...in one night. Their holiday festival starts at 3 pm at the Marana Municipal Complex (11555 Civic Center Dr). It includes live performances on each of their two stages, a free photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus, free rides aboard the holiday train, and inflatables to jump on for the little ones. There's even going to be a light show in Santa's courtyard! Then, at 6 pm and again at 8:30 pm, they light up the tree. There will also be plenty of local artists and craftsmen selling their one-of-a-kind products. You are sure to find the perfect gift for that hard-to-shop-for person on your Christmas list here.
